If you're in need of some more unusual rhythm parts, or you'd like a selection of hits from a source that your peers will most likely have overlooked, Found Percussion provides 85 construction kits creatively constructed from repurposed garden and household objects. Most of the sounds are very bright, with not a lot going on at the bottom end - this makes them wonderful for mixing in with really weighty drums. While you probably couldn't rely on this disc alone to build your entire percussion section, there are definitely enough well-recorded percussive noises here to add extra flavour and character to your sonic arsenal.
