Reviewer: Barry Rudolph Back to Urban Contemporary Gospel product details

It's not lost on Elvert Waltower Jr. producer of the Urban Contemporary Gospel that gospel music has had such a heavy influence on many of today's most popular genres of music. Producer, songwriter, and performer Waltower captures the essence of urban contemporary gospel in this one of a kind collection of construction kits. Having worked with such gospel greats as Kirk Franklin, Fred Hammond, Ce Ce Winans, Tonex and many more, Elvert knows the heart of this contemporary gospel sound.

Often marketed as "Black gospel" this modern day subgenre sprouted from more traditional Southern Gospel as well as early Soul Music and Rhythm & Blues. Most of the prominent soul artists of the '60s had roots in the church and incorporated this musical and vocal style in their secular hits.

Urban Contemporary Gospel includes 3.15 GB of instrumental loops and hits in .wav, REX2, Apple Loops, and RMX formats. These are freshly recorded and characteristic of contemporary gospel music. There are also numerous vocal and lyrical phrases-patented and defining trademarks that will fit into any music composition.

Urban Contemporary Gospel was conceived and executive produced by Josquin des Pres for Track Star Music Solutions and is available for $99 from BigFish Audio.
