This is a two-CD set of over 500 loops all performed live capturing the style, sound, feel and maybe a little of the smell of the bottom-end of great funk/R&B classic recordings.

Des Pres, no stranger to tutorial presentations with over 14 bass instruction books to his credit, relies on his extensive background as a record producer to distill and focus this package into the most essential and funkiest loop collection yet.

Loops are provided in both Acidized .wav format and as un-looped music CD files on two separate CDs that are cross-referenced to each other with same-name folders/ directories. There are three sections: "Old School Funk Bass Patterns," "70's Funk and Disco Grooves" and "Hip-Hop Bass Patterns."
