'Ambionica' by Producer Loops and The Sound of Merlin was inspired by the Berlin School of 1970s artists like Klaus Schulze and Tangerine Dream. 'Ambionica features a deep and wide spectrum of synth melodies, pads and atmospheres with fully encapsulating basslines and percussion loops.

'Ambionica' will soothe and relax your senses with otherworldly sounds and vibes. Simply put, this pack will give you an edge in your Ambient/Chillout, Synthwave & Retro Pop productions. It combines the vintage sounds of the seventies with contemporary sound design techniques.

In 1976 and 1977, David Bowie recorded a couple of albums in Berlin as he was so inspired by Berlin's artistic atmosphere. In these albums, you can hear subtle references to hits of the time. Shortly afterwards, in 1979, Gregor Theelen from The Sound of Merlin bought his first synthesizer and was totally inspired by Schulze, Tangerine Dream and Bowie. 'Ambionica' plays tribute to all of the heroes and teachers of his teenage years and the roots of The Sound of Merlin. The samples in this pack were all recorded using a single synthesizer called Synister, built at the University of Berlin.

Like so many other Producer Loops products, 'Ambionica' includes MIDI files for the majority of musical phrases heard in each Kit, allowing you to seamlessly mix your favourite synths and samplers with the sounds contained in the pack.
