'Lenny Dee: Hard Electronic' features NINE relentless, hard and downright dirty Construction Kits, packed with hundreds of twisted samples and a huge bonus add-on pack of loops and one shot hits/fx. Approaching 3GB total content in ACIDized WAV, Apple Loops, REX and Reason ReFill.

'Lenny Dee: Hard Electronic' is the end result of over a year's worth of production, combining subtle ambient sounds with hard edged techno, industrial and hardcore. The nine construction kits vary from raw old school through to hi-tech circuit bent insanity, and feature a staggering variety of warped basslines, glitched vocal samples and crushing drums. In addition, 'Hard Electronic' also includes a huge bonus add-on Sample Pack containing even more loops, one-shots and FX.

Future Music Magazine Review:
"New York Techno legend Lenny Dee joins forces with Producer Loops to present this package of nine Techno and House construction kits aimed at the harder end of the market. Content is delivered in ACIDized WAV, Apple Loops, REX and ReFill formats, totally 3GB of top quality content.

The samples range from drum loops to vocals and FX, plus just about everything in between. As you'd expect from someone involved in Electronic music since its infancy, production values are top notch. At times things get pretty aggressive and industrial, making this an ideal collection for producers of in-your-face House and Techno."

About Lenny Dee:
Producer / DJ / Label Owner / Lenny Dee is one of NYC's earliest techno and house pioneers. He produced classic UK chart-hitting techno with Frankie Bones (as Looney Tunes), Victor Simonelli (for Nu Groove and Def Mix) and Tommy Musto - including their 'Fallout' track - now heard on the video game 'Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas'.

Early on, Lenny worked at Skyline Studios (at the time home of Nile Rodgers), and at Arthur Baker's Shakedown Studio's on productions for New order, Brooklyn Funk Essentials and Al Jarreau amongst others. At the end of the '80s, he attacked Europe with his new sound of Techno and in 1991 launched Industrial Strength Records, a label that has featured Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Laurent Garnier, Manu Le Malin, Cirilo, Zenith, John Selway, Daft Punk, Casper Pound, Unexist, DOA and many more.

Lenny has also written and produced hundreds of tracks on labels such as 4th floor, Warner Bros, Strictly Rhythm, R&S, Music Man, Atlantic Records, Arista, XL Recordings, Gigilo, A&M Records, Third Movement, ID &T and Stay Up Forever. He also also remixed for Atlantic Records, Sven Vath and chart acts in Holland and Italy - including projects with Italy's superstar DJ Moella from RadioDeeJay FM.

Lenny's musical accomplishments range wide, having recently engineered 3 remixes on the Wu Tang Clan album Wu-Tang Meets The Indie Culture Vol. 2: Enter The Dubstep, a remix for Ali King's new hit feat. Def Jam's Fabolous and a soundtrack for a Runway Show at New York's Fashion Week.

Its no wonder Lenny was named Number One 'Hard DJ' by Mixmag and has twice been awarded the accolade of Best Worldwide Techno DJ by the Scottish Dance Music Awards & Frontpage Magazine.

We are truly honoured and privileged to welcome Lenny Dee to the Producer Loops label.

Interview with Lenny Dee:
Question: Lenny, it's great to be working with you. What was the inspiration behind Hard Electronic?

Answer: "I made Hard Electronic to reflect the different styles of electronic music I like. The construction kits were produced to sound underground, moody and dark while providing a lot of variety in styles which can be mixed and matched. It reflects how I work in the studio as I always move around musically before I settle into the direction of a track."

Question: Is Hard Electronic specifically for hard dance producers?

Answer: "I designed Hard Electronic to be flexible so it would meet the needs of a wide range of producers at all levels. The pack is not specific to any genre, more of a journey through some of the styles I have produced and released over the years. In essence, this collection is for all producers who want new sounds to inspire new ideas in their music. For the producers just starting out, they can use the Construction kits which offer loads of options and styles to choose from. For the more advanced users, there are lots of extra sounds, loops, fx and vocals which are usable in so many different ways."

Question: What makes this pack unique?
Answer: "The sounds in the pack are a great tool to take your sounds and productions to the next level. I felt the pack would be more interesting when the user has raw sounds in which he or she can effect, edit and layer. It makes the pack something you can use now, or in the future. Each construction kit is like a musical bed so you can layer much more of your own parts on top of each kit to get your own vibe until it becomes your own musical composition. I felt many constructions kits are very polished and don't leave much room for the user to work with, so I wanted my pack to be something you can use in many ways again & again. Besides the kits, there are hundreds more loops and samples that can be loaded up as song-starters or added to your track to compliment your existing mix. It's totally flexible and useable."
