'West Indian Soca Rhythms' from Strategic Audio is an innovative new product which features five amazing Soca/Calypso Construction Kits suitable for a variety of production styles, including World Music. Soca is a sub-genre of the indigenous Caribbean genre Calypso and its name is derived from it being a mixture of Soul and Calypso.
Each Kit in this new pack is inspired by the styles of prominent Soca artists such as Machel Montano, Kes The Band, Rupee, Kerwin DuBois, Shurwayne Winchester, and Skinny Fabulous.
With tempos ranging from 120 BPM to 130 BPM, this pack captures the sound of what is referred to as "Groovy Soca" and blends it perfectly with elements of Dance and Techno.
