Atelier Series Maggie is a rich, soulful legato vocal release for emotional, cinematic and modern songwriting contexts. Included are three vowel patches (ahh, ooo, mmm) with natural, progressive vibrato. Musical Sampling spent a lot of time finessing the legato transitions using a variety of post-production and programming techniques to allow Maggie’s performances to sail through smoothly.
In addition to the Emotional Legato patches, they've included Evermore; an evolving sustains keyswitch patch. They sourced the material from the vocal recordings and ran them through a bespoke array of hardware pedals for atmospheric, tonal sound design. Included are six presets: Promise, Afterglow, Hallowed, Abyss, Prayer and Stardust.

The Artist
Maggie Downs is a singer/songwriter located in Kansas City, Missouri. She studied classical and jazz vocal performance at Troy University where she performed with multiple ensembles.
After her studies, she launched a career in songwriting. She made her debut with her EP that opened up a variety of opportunities in performing and co-writing with other artists. Downs showcases a wide variety of lyrical subjects while dousing them in upbeat guitar and piano-drenched landscapes. Maggie currently is writing new music as well as being a full-time mom.

What Is The Atelier Series?
Oftentimes during the research and experimental phase of development, MusicalSampling will create instruments that don’t necessarily belong to a bigger, themed release. Instead of attempting to shoehorn them into a future release or trying to construct a comprehensive product around it, they decided to create the Atelier Series so that other composers can enjoy our explorations in sample development as well.

The Following End User License Agreement is included with Atelier Series Maggie. This License is only valid for the individual who has purchased an unopened, new and lawfully made copy of Atelier Series Maggie from a dealer or distributor authorized by Big Fish Audio.
"For software products produced by Best Service the German Copyright Act is effective. All other Software products sold and/or distributed by Best Service are subject to the license agreement which is part of the respective software installer.
The samples and programs contained in any software/library produced by Best Service are licensed to the owner/buyer of the product only. Only the purchaser of this CD is authorized to use the sounds for his music-, multimedia-, film-, radio-, games-, webcast- or similar productions and only as long as no isolated samples, loops or phrases become available for a third party.
