'Bayou: Tale from the Swamp' is quite possibly the most original Sample Pack of 2021. The music and professional voiceover transport us back in time to 19th century Louisiana. Folks thought there was a plague but eventually awoke to the nightmare that it was actually a zombie apocalypse. Yes, you heard correctly! Our narrator guides us through the swamp in pursuit of a particularly aggressive zombie. The narrators slow, deep and rugged southern drawl add to the character, atmosphere and magic of this fine production.

Composer, Lhasa Mencur, has brought us this wonderful production which combines raw acoustic instruments with subtle dark analogue synths, atmospheric foley & gritty and authentic narration. Where possible, all of the instrumentation was recorded in an open wooded area or log cabin to capture authenticity.
