“I like to try and write tracks whose ideas are distilled and refined down, so that they become greater than the sum of their parts”, explains Dixon. “In my opinion, the best tracks tend to be simple, and so I try to use minimal but bold building blocks. The magic combination for me is a piece of music being simple enough that it's catchy, but with enough depth that it keeps you coming back for more.”
